Round 3 Playoff Match-ups
It pain me to write this for two reasons. Not only are the Pens not in the Conference Finals but the Flyers rallied from a 3-0 series deficit to come back and beat Boston in Game 7 to win the series and become the third team in NHL history to rally from a 3-0 deficit to win the series. and it effects so many people. Including my mother. Today the Pittsburgh Penguins resigned backup goalie Brent Johnson to a two year contract extension through the 2012 season.
This is a huge signing for the Pens and will sure up their goal tending situation.
