Rebound
Not really much to say here. I hate back to back games. Especially when the other team had a day off. Pens lost last night in Buffalo. Didn’t recap it because it was shit. Tonight is a huge game to help rebound from last night’s meltdown. New Jersey has been our nightmare all season. Tonight that changes.
Don’t be surprised in Brent Johnson get the start in goal tonight.

Penguins bus gets stuck in Buffalo →
acewepeel:
The defending Stanley Cup champions encountered a blizzard in Buffalo that buried the team’s bus in snow three blocks from the Penguins’ hotel.
Dan Bylsma and his staff, the Penguins PR department, the training staff and three players — goalie Marc-Andre Fleury, left wing Matt Cooke and defenseman Sergei Gonchar — managed to push the bus out of the deep snow and back onto the road.

On the Road Again
Tonight the Pens will return to the road as they head to Buffalo to play the first game of a four game road trip that will see them visit the Sabres, Devils, Lightning, and Panthers. A This road trip will test the Pens will and will be a measuring stick for this team. Maybe the biggest roadtrip of the entire season.
Tonight they will be in Buffalo to face the red hot Sabres at HSBC Arena. This...
Nothing Major
Pens fell to the Maple Leafs last night by a score of 4-3. Pens goals were scored by Matt Cooke, Sidney Crosby, and Mike Rupp.
The Pens will now go on the road for a four game road trip. They will visit Buffalo, New Jersey, Tampa Bay, and Florida in that order. Huge road trip to help boost their confidence.
Next game is Tuesday at Buffalo.

Back to Work
The Pens will return to the ice tonight for the first time in three days as they host the Toronto Maple Leafs at the Mellon Arena. The Pens will be looking to put together back to back wins after coming off an 8-2 crushing of the Ottawa Senators on Wednesday night. Toronto will be playing the second of back to back games and are coming off an overtime loss last night to Montreal. A tired Maple...

A Mad Russians Christmas
In their last game before a three day break, the Pens dominated the Ottawa Senators by winning 8-2. This was the Pens second win against the Senators this year and first at home. Though Ottawa dominated in shots the Pens were just too skilled to keep up with.
Evegni Malkin scored his fourth hat trick of his career and first of the season. Billy Guerin scored two goals and recorded four points...

Redemption Tonight
Tonight the Pens will host the Ottawa Senators as they look to get back on the winning track after the Monday night disaster. This will be the Pens last game before Christmas where every team in the NHL has Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and the day after off to spend with their families.
This will be the third meeting between the teams this year and the first at the Mellon Arena. The first...
Didn't Want to do This
I didn’t want to really recap last night but I will. The Pens lost to the Devils 4-0 in what was there third loss to the Devils this season.
With the 4-0 shutout last night, Devils goalie Martin Broduer passed Terry Sawchuck for the all time shutouts record with 104.
The Pens once again fell victim to the Devils trap game and could never get anything going on offense. When they did get a...

Pokecheck City
On a night where the snow was flying at home in Pittsburgh then Pens were up in calm and cold Buffalo extending their winning streak to five games. Last night the Pens defeated the Sabres 2-1 in a shootout to notch their fifth consecutive win. For the second game in a row it took extra time to get the job down but when it came down to the nitty gritty the Pens, backed by another stellar...
Battle By the Lake
Tonight the Pens will look to extend their winning streak to five games when they play the Buffalo Sabres at HSBC Arena in Buffalo. This will be the first of four meeting between the teams this year. If the past is any indication this should be an evenly matched game. Luckily for the Pens, red hot goalie Ryan Miller started last night for the Sabres so it is expected that tonight former Penguin...

Make That Two for the Road
CROSBY SUCKS…yeahhhh, sucks the life out of your team maybe.
The Pens swept their home and home series with the Flyers with a 3-2 shootout win on Thursday night in Philly. In a game that was almost a polar opposite from the one play on Tuesday night, the Flyers actually looked like they cared this time and almost won. Obviously the winning part wasn’t possible from the get go but they...
Penguins fans ranked #1 in NHL by Forbes →
acewepeel:
According to Forbes, “For the 2008-09 season, we ranked teams based on average regular-season home game attendance as a percentage of arena capacity, regular-season local television ratings as a percentage of the team’s metro area population and team merchandise sales. Pens fans emerged the most fanatical.
Last year, ESPN Magazine ranked the Penguins No. 3 in all of professional...

CSN Philadelphia
Is crediting the GWG to Letang, when it was clearly Crosby. I’m legitimately disgusted at the jealousy and hatred that Philly is projecting. I need to get out of this area ASAP. Legitimately disgusted.

Bury Them
Tonight the Pens will play the Flyers in the second game of a home and home series with them. This time the game will be at the Wachovia Center in Philadelphia. The first game was played Tuesday night at the Mellon Arena with the Pens embarrassing the Flyers 6-1. Tonight the Pens could almost ruin the entire Flyers season with a win. At the least a win could put the Flyers too far out of any...
Ron Cook Wrote the Worst Hockey Column of All Time →
To sum it up quickly, apparently Ron Cook has a problem with fighting in hockey so he took it out on the Pens. He focuses more on bashing fighting than he does on the actual game. He says the Talbot fight in last year’s playoffs meant nothing and didn’t really help. Joke.
